How it Works, Other Services, and Questions
The closet operates on a point-system. Each student who is enrolled in at least .5 units will have 5 points associated with their student ID number at the beginning of each semester. They can earn an additional 3 points by paying their AS benefits fee and in addition another 2 points by referring 2 fellow students. For a total of 10 points each semester! (The quickest way to provide proof of enrollment is with an updated validation sticker on the top right of your student ID, provided by the Admissions and Records office, Hornet Resource Center, or Student Center.)
Each item in The Hanger is worth 1 point and are free for the students to keep! We only ask students not to take more than 2 items from the same category each semester. (e.g. no more than 2 jackets, 2 pairs of shoes, etc.)
Measurement Assistance and Gender-Affirming Garments:
We also now offer discrete measurement assistance and ordering for gender-affirming garments (e.g. binders and compression underwear- limit 1 per student) for our students who need them. Since these garments have to be ordered from an outside company, that does mean that there is a wait time between requesting and receiving the item. Simply reach out to jlowery@fullcoll.edu to schedule an appointment or submit a request.
On that note, we wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude toward the company offering us these garments at a discount so that we can obtain them for our students in need – Gender Bender Apparel LLC.
Please visit their website to find out more about their company and the work that they are doing: https://genderbenderllc.com/
The Closet strives to provide a variety of services to students from diverse backgrounds. If there is something you need that is not provided or if you have special circumstances, please reach out. There may be a way we can help or direct you to someone who can. Also, reach out if you have any additional questions.

Earth Month Challenge
March 3 – April 15
The Career Center invites you to help planet earth by recycling your unwanted clothes and shoes in our collaboration with USAgain and FC Sustainability!

How the Earth Month Challenge Works:
Drop off your damaged or unwanted clothing at The Hanger (FC’s Career Closet) Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, and we’ll place it in the USAgain Bin for you! For every filled bin, a tree is planted!
We’re aiming to fill 25 bins and plant 25 trees by 4/15! Help us hit our goal and support a greener, cleaner future.
Be sure to also stop by our booth during the 2025 Earth Week Fair on 4/21 & 4/22 to see how if we met our goal!
Keeping It Green All Year Round!
The Career Center promotes sustainability through The Hanger and USAgain bin, in an effort to help reduce waste and encourage recycling. Access to the USAgain bin is always available behind building 2000.
