July 10, 2019Participating students will learn about the Career Planning Process, take a free interest assessment, and learn how to make informed decisions about choosing a major. After completing the Career Center Activity, students are encouraged to meet with a counselor for an individual appointment to create a Student Educational Program Plan.

July 30, 2019Have you applied for several jobs and not received a response? Are you tired of employer’s stating that you do not “meet” the job requirements? If you said yes to either of these questions, then you need to attend this workshop! At the workshop, you will learn how to persuade an employer to invite you to an interview by targeting your resume to that particular job. Additionally, a cover letter is a great way to introduce yourself to the employer and tell them how your skills, knowledge, and abilities will benefit their company and meet their company needs. To grab the employer’s attention, you will learn how to write a basic business letter that's professional, concise, and to the point.
Attending this workshop is the first step to receiving guided assistance with creating a resume. The next step, if needed, is attending a Resume Lab.
