The CLP Center hosts Career Workshops on a regular basis designed for either the undecided or decided student usually for a duration of one hour.

By completing this Career Center Assignment, you will identify a career based on your assessment results from the Fullerton College Career Planning System and begin to learn how to research that career. This activity will help you focus on information such as your preferred work activities and work environments, preparation such as training and education, employment outlook, salary, and work values relating to a career.  After your research, you will pull together your findings to synthesize the information.

The CLP Center also has the California Career Information System Eureka which offers a comprehensive database for the career explorer, including personality and skills assessments.  You must follow the Instructions (pdf) before logging onto the site.

Find updated career and occupational information and selected articles in the Career Spotlight Newsletter published by the Career & Life Planning Center bi-annually.

The Vocational Biographies system is a comprehensive online career library offering "real-life" career stories and an endless stream of ideas for readers seeking career direction.  You must follow the Instructions (pdf) before logging onto the site.  It is also offered in print copies in the CLP Center.
